Effect of two spray disinfection methods for ambulance air and surface

Ambulance space, surface and ground joint aerosol or dry fog spray disinfection: disinfect the air, inner wall, doors and windows, object surface and ground in the medical warehouse at the same time, and use small aerosol spray for disinfection tools (spray droplets ≤ 50 μ m account for more than 90%, spray distance 6-8 m, spray amplitude>1 m, flow rate 250ml/min) or Metso DF-3 dry fog spray (spray droplets 7-10 μ m, spray distance and spray amplitude are not required, flow rate 32ml/min)

disinfectant

Small aerosol spray

Peracetic Acid Solution

Peracetic acid concentration: 5%
Reference space usage: 20-40ml/m ³
Surface reference dosage: 100ml/㎡ (surface evenly sprayed with moisture without flowing water)
Method: Close the doors and windows - spray - seal for 1h - open the window for ventilation

hydrogen peroxide solution

Peracetic acid concentration: 6%
Reference space usage: 20-40ml/m ³
Surface reference dosage: 100ml/㎡ (surface evenly sprayed with moisture without flowing water)
Method: Close the doors and windows - spray - seal for 1h - open the window for ventilation

chlorine dioxide solution

Peracetic acid concentration: 2%
Reference space usage: 20-40ml/m ³
Surface reference dosage: 100ml/㎡ (surface evenly sprayed with moisture without flowing water)
Method: Close the doors and windows - spray - seal for 1h - open the window for ventilation

Teling TL-X150 dry fog spray

Hydrogen peroxide and peracetic acid mixed disinfectant

Disinfectant concentration: 2.2% hydrogen peroxide+0.45% peracetic acid
Reference dosage of disinfectant: 10ml/m ³ (sterilize both the space and the surface)
Method: Close the doors and windows - spray for 4 min - seal for 30 min - open the window for ventilation

Comparison of advantages and disadvantages of two spray methods

Small aerosol spray

Teling TL-X150 dry fog spray

Uniformity of disinfectant diffusion

The droplets are large, with obvious settling motion and cross diffusion uniformity, especially in small slits and inside the cabinet

The particle size belongs to dry mist, with no obvious settling motion, and the diffusion uniformity of disinfectant droplets is good

Convenience of operation

When spray is manually operated, there will be certain deviation in each disinfection process

Automatic spray disinfection with good repeatability

Disinfection process

Air and surfaces need to be disinfected separately

Integrated disinfection of air and surface

Disinfectant dosage (calculated based on a 10m ³ emergency compartment and a surface area of 28 ㎡)

About 3L

100ml

Corrosive disinfectant

The concentration and dosage of disinfectant are high, resulting in excessive corrosion

Disinfectant has low concentration, low dosage, no corrosion, and does not corrode metals, polymer plastics, rubber, etc
