Hydrogen peroxide sterilizer for cell room disinfection
Firstly, how does environmental pollution occur during cell culture?
Conventional manual spraying of disinfectants or incomplete disinfection with ultraviolet lamps can cause secondary pollution
During the process of cell culture, the incubator often experiences large-scale contamination due to other operational issues such as medium overflow, water tray contamination, etc. Therefore, it is necessary to disinfect the incubator. Conventional disinfection (such as ultraviolet irradiation) can only achieve the effect of surface disinfection, especially for stubborn contamination such as fungi, which cannot be completely disinfected, resulting in frequent cell contamination during subsequent cultivation processes.
How to effectively avoid pollution?
1. Emphasize cell management and standardize operations
Regularly clean and disinfect the cell room, standardize laboratory personnel's operations (such as wearing white coats, changing shoes, etc.), and create a clean culture environment.
2. Avoid frequent battery checks
Develop an experimental plan to reduce the frequency of opening and closing the incubator door, wear clean gloves when taking and placing cells, and wipe the surface of the culture bottle/dish with a small amount of 70% medical alcohol (excessive amount can cause residual ethanol vapor inside the incubator), thereby reducing the risk of contamination of the cell incubator;
3. Regular maintenance and disinfection to prevent contamination
Regularly clean and maintain the incubator. After water disinfection, use the incubator and replace it regularly. When choosing an incubator, priority should be given to those with automatic sterilization function. Once the cell chamber is contaminated, it should be disinfected and sterilized in a timely manner.
Professional cell space disinfection equipment:
The hydrogen peroxide dry mist sterilizer can be effectively used for disinfecting cell chamber spaces. Legitimate manufacturers adopt professional atomization technology. Atomized particles smaller than 3 microns enhance spatial diffusion uniformity, quickly fill the entire confined space, and do not miss any dead corners, known as sterilization effect. Its uniformity, no residue, and no damage to the machine are very consistent with the characteristics of cell room environment disinfection and incubator disinfection.
